Tuesday 22nd September
A hot blustery wind greeted us at The Coast Golf Course making for difficult conditions but The Huckster - a.k.a. Tom Sawyer thumbed his nose at the conditions and scored a fine 40 points to win the day from the ever consistent Col Vincent who scored 36 points.
Tuesday 15th September
A good number of players turned up at Georges River Golf Club for a stableford event on a course that needs alot of rain to bring it back up to it's former standard, however one player who didn't muddle his way around the course was the winner on the day - Wally Wrightman who had 38 points. Ronny Thompson ran out as runner up on a count back with 36 points.
Tuesday 8th September
Another great Spring day for doing battle at Cabramatta, with Bill (North Shore) Cate coming out on top with a score of 38 stableford points - Bill was bouyed by this result.
Runner up on the day was that dark horse Col (Didgy) Vincent with 36 points. Good to see Col back after a long absence.
Tuesday 1st September
Superb weather greeted us at Liverpool Golf course for our 2 ball Championships.
The winners were the makeshift team of Rod (Woody) Finlayson and John (Luigi) Orazi witha score of 44 points narrowly beating David (Twinkletoes) Ellams and Wally (Muddles) Wrightman who amassed 43 points.
Well done to those 4 players and all others who took part.
Tuesday 25th August
On a fine but windy day at Camden Valley Resort, Peter (Skips) Paki won the A Grade medal with a score of 74 nett from Michelle (Bumperette Dunn), nett 76.
The B grade was won by David (Twinkletoes) Ellams with a fine score of 68 nett from Bill (North Shore) Cate with a nett 74.
The "Whippy/Des" Memorial was won by "Twinkletoes"
Good to see 2 visitors there for the day - Avril Cornock and Liz Buckley - both of whom won balls on the day with Liz getting nearest the pin on the 16th hole. Well done ladies and we hope to see back again and becoming members.
